Real Madrid have reportedly identified Chelsea head coach Antonio Conte as a possible replacement for Zinedine Zidane.
Despite winning the La Liga and Champions League double last season, Real have been off the pace during the current campaign with the club currently sitting eight points behind leaders Barcelona in Spain's top flight and having finished behind Tottenham Hotspur in the group stages of European football's premier competition.
Real's form has improved in recent weeks but Zidane's position at the Bernabeu is far from secure, and the Frenchman will be aware that he will have to deliver results in the second half of the season.
According to The Sun, one of the candidates to replace him at Real is Conte, with the Italian having won the Premier League last season and previously enjoying a stellar spell at Juventus.
Conte's future at Stamford Bridge has been a regular topic for debate and depending on Chelsea's success this season, leaving the West Londoners is not out of the question.
On Friday, a report claimed that Chelsea were preparing to bring back Carlo Ancelotti to replace Conte.
