Alan Shearer: 'Chelsea will win more trophies with Jose Mourinho in charge'

Former England striker Alan Shearer believes that Premier League champions Chelsea will win more trophies while Jose Mourinho is at Stamford Bridge.

Former England striker Alan Shearer has claimed that Chelsea will win more trophies while Jose Mourinho is at Stamford Bridge.

The Blues, at the summit of the Premier League for most of the season, clinched the title on Sunday following a 1-0 win against Crystal Palace.

Shearer, who won the league in 1995 with Blackburn Rovers, told BBC Sport: "[Mourinho] has his third title in English football, and now he will want more.

"He can get that with this Chelsea team, which certainly does not need much work done to it over the summer.

"The main thing for Chelsea is that Mourinho is not going anywhere. While he is around, there are more trophies to come."

Chelsea also won the title in 2005, 2006 and 2010.
