Chelsea defender Marcos Alonso has seemingly liked a tweet which highlighted his statistics in comparison to Leicester City's Ben Chilwell.
In recent days, the Blues have been heavily linked with an approach for the England international, who would replace either Alonso or Emerson Palmieri.
However, Alonso appears to have made his feelings known on potentially being dislodged from the squad by acknowledging criticism of his potential successor.
The Spaniard liked a tweet which read: "this guy can go on about Chilwell for 140 seconds and forgets to mention less goal contributions than Marcos Alonso, who's started FOURTEEN matches less than Chilwell, less chances created /90 than MA, less clean sheets /90 than MA, less tackles won /90 than MA."
Although Alonso has sometimes struggled in defensive areas this season, he has contributed four goals and two assists from just 11 outings in the Premier League.
Meanwhile, Chilwell has posted two goals and three assists from 23 starts in England's top flight.
