Juventus have reportedly failed in an attempt to secure a January deal for Chelsea defender Andreas Christensen.
The 22-year-old has struggled for appearances since the arrival of Maurizio Sarri, with just 12 starts being made in all competitions this season.
That has resulted in the Denmark international becoming unsettled at Stamford Bridge, while the centre-back has recently angered Sarri by leaving the bench before the end of the game with Arsenal on January 19.
However, according to Tuttomercatoweb, Chelsea have decided to reject a loan bid from Juventus with Christensen being required to remain as an option for Sarri during the club's upcoming hectic schedule.
Chelsea remain in all four competitions, and Christensen could feature regularly if the Blues have an extended run in the FA Cup and Europa League.
