Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga reveals that he wants to return to Athletic Bilbao in the future.

Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga has revealed that he wants to return to Athletic Bilbao in the future.

Kepa spent 14 years with Bilbao before joining Chelsea in a big-money move ahead of the 2018-19 campaign.

The 25-year-old only made 54 senior appearances during his time with the Basque club, however, and the Spain international has claimed that he "would like to return to Athletic" before the end of his career.

"Of course I would like to return to Athletic," Kepa told El Chiringuito. "I don't know when or how or what, but playing at Athletic obviously I'd like that. I have great memories."

The goalkeeper played 54 times for the Blues during the 2018-19 campaign, while he has already appeared on 11 occasions for Frank Lampard's side this season.

Kepa is currently with the Spain squad preparing for their upcoming two internationals.
