Chelsea are understood to be ready to offer Frank Lampard a one-year contract extension at the club.
The 34-year-old had been expected to leave Stamford Bridge for free at the end of the season.
However, the possible return of manager Jose Mourinho could see the England international offered the chance to stay on with the Blues, according to The Mirror.
MLS side Los Angeles Galaxy are thought to have offered Lampard a three-year contract to join them in America.
