New Chelsea boss Frank Lampard will reportedly make the final call on whether Brazilian attacker Willian will be offered a new contract at Stamford Bridge.
The 30-year-old, who was a part of the Brazil squad that triumphed at the 2019 Copa America, will see his current deal in London expire at the end of next season.
The attacker looked set to sign a fresh deal with the Blues when Maurizio Sarri was in charge, but the Italian has since left the club for Juventus, with Lampard now at the helm.
According to the Daily Mail, the club's legendary captain will be given the final say on Willian, who has been linked with both Real Madrid and Barcelona since the end of the 2018-19 campaign.
The South American has scored 52 times in 292 appearances for Chelsea since a 2013 arrival from Russian side Anzhi Makhachkala.
Willian struggled to produce his best form for the club last term, though, managing just three goals in 32 Premier League appearances.
