Chelsea's Juan Mata open to Arsenal move?

Juan Mata is reportedly keen on leaving Chelsea for Arsenal following reported interest from the Gunners.

Chelsea midfielder Juan Mata is reportedly keen on leaving Stamford Bridge for Premier League rivals Arsenal.

The Spain international has been linked with an exit from the Blues, with the Gunners, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United all thought to have shown interest in the 25-year-old.

Despite Mata wanting a switch to the Emirates, the midfielder has been told by the club that he will not be allowed to join another English outfit, according to the Daily Star.

Reports of Arsenal's interest in Mata intensified when his father was spotted in the directors' box during the Gunners' 2-0 win over Fenerbahce in the Champions League this week.

It is understood that if any transfer materialises for Mata it will be a switch abroad, with both Atletico Madrid and Barcelona touted as potential destinations.
