Real Madrid will reportedly entice Eden Hazard to the Bernabeu by offering the Chelsea forward Cristiano Ronaldo's former shirt number.
Hazard is believed to be the European champions' top summer transfer target following last week's departure of Ronaldo, freeing up further funds and a place in attack.
The 27-year-old hinted during the World Cup that he will consider leaving West London this summer and, according to Spanish outlet Don Balon, Los Blancos will now go all out to get their man.
Chelsea and Madrid are well apart in their valuation of the player, but it is suggested that Hazard may play a part by forcing through a move.
Hazard wears the number 10 shirt for Chelsea, which is currently occupied by Luka Modric at the Bernabeu, so Madrid will instead issue him with the iconic number seven jersey, also previously worn by club legend Raul.
