Antonio Rudiger has acknowledged that he wants Bayer Leverkusen playmaker Kai Havertz to join him at Chelsea.
With Leverkusen having missed out on a place in next season's Champions League, it is increasingly likely that the Bundesliga outfit will be prepared to cash in on their star man over the coming months.
As it stands, Chelsea are regarded as the favourites to sign the Germany international, and Rudiger admits that he wants his compatriot to move to Stamford Bridge.
Speaking to Sky Germany, Rudiger said: "Kai is talented, when I saw him train with the Germany national team I was like, 'wow!'.
"I would be lying to you if I said I didn't want him at Chelsea."
Havertz contributed 12 goals and six assists from 30 appearances in Germany's top flight this season.
