Radamel Falcao: 'I will not be 100% at the World Cup'

Colombia forward Radamel Falcao says that he will not be 100% fit at this summer's World Cup as he has not played competitively since January.

Colombia striker Radamel Falcao has said that it will be "impossible" for him to regain 100% fitness ahead of this summer's World Cup in Brazil.

Jose Pekerman named the Monaco forward, who has not played since January after tearing his anterior cruciate ligament, in his 30-man provisional squad on Tuesday.

"To get to 100% football-wise will be impossible, because I lack hours of competitive football," Falcao told Marca.

"In order to resume, if I am feeling good, I will go.

"If I see that I am not sure, and I'm not going to contribute anything, I will be sensible and I will not go."

Falcao, 28, scored 17 goals for his club this season prior to his injury.
