Swansea City have been beaten 2-1 by the Colorado Rapids in their opening pre-season fixture.
Andre Akpan opened the scoring for the hosts before Kamani Hill doubled their advantage in the 25th minute.
New signing Jonathan de Guzman pulled one back for Michael Laudrup's men with 10 minutes remaining but Colorado managed to hold on for victory.
The Swans' next fixture pits them against Ventura County Fusion in four days.
