Crystal Palace want West Bromwich Albion defender Nathan Ferguson?

Crystal Palace are considering a January move for West Bromwich Albion's young defender Nathan Ferguson, according to a report.

Crystal Palace are reportedly considering a move for West Bromwich Albion's young defender Nathan Ferguson.

The 19-year-old, who only made his professional debut back in August, has been highly impressive for Slaven Bilic's side this season, playing in both full-back positions and starting all bar one of their Championship games.

According to the Daily Mail, Palace see Ferguson as a replacement for Aaron Wan-Bissaka, who they sold to Manchester United in the summer for £50m.

It is believed that the Eagles will make a move for the Birmingham-born youngster, who began his career as a central defender, in the January transfer window.

Ferguson has featured for England at Under-18, Under-19 and Under-20 levels already, making six appearances in all.
