Steven Gerrard believes that England need four points from their remaining two matches to guarantee their passage through to the quarter-finals of the ongoing European Championships.
The England skipper was speaking after playing his part in England's 1-1 draw with France earlier today.
"We would have been delighted with a win," Gerrard told ITV Sport. "France showed they have fantastic players, but we are satisfied with the performance.
"I always said, no matter what the result, we don't get carried away with it. We now need four points from our next two games."
Gerrard set up Joleon Lescott for England's goal in Donetsk.
