England are warned to expect noise and attention from the locals at their Euro 2012 training base in Krakow.

England have been warned to expect noise and attention from the locals at their Euro 2012 training base in Krakow.

The city's deputy mayor Magdalena Sroka told Roy Hodgson's men that they will have enthusiastic fans to deal with by day and thriving bars and restaurants at night.

She told The AP: "During the night, Krakow is a noisy city. For sure it's not a peaceful and quiet and empty city. This is a city full of energy and full of life.

"The players can only have problems with the girl fans, I believe. For sure, they are handsome. For sure, a lot of girls will like [to] watch them and look out for them at the city at the main market square.

"I am sure no-one will be like very aggressive - they'll just want to touch [the players] and have an autograph."

A hotel in Krakow has been scouted as potential accommodation for the England team's WAGs, but the coaching setup insists that they have learned from the mistakes of old.

"Between 2002 and 2007, everyone got carried away with everything in life," said coach Gary Neville. "It is a different world now and those mistakes won't happen again."

England start their Euro 2012 campaign against France on Monday (June 11).
