Southampton striker Rickie Lambert will reportedly be named in England's squad for their upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Moldova and Ukraine.
Three Lions manager Roy Hodgson will announce his squad this afternoon, with 31-year-old Lambert expected to be included following his debut against Scotland earlier this month.
It is understood that Hodgson is keen to stick with the striker, while Liverpool's Daniel Sturridge will also be named for the qualifiers in September, according to the Daily Star.
Hodgson was at Old Trafford last night supposedly to watch Wayne Rooney, who impressed during Manchester United's goalless draw with Chelsea.
