Everton considering offer for free agent Samuel Eto'o?

Everton are reportedly considering making an offer to Samuel Eto'o as the race to sign the striker continues.

Everton have reportedly placed Samuel Eto'o on a list of possible targets as they prepare to add more options to their squad.

Eto'o is still searching for a new club following his release by Chelsea at the end of last season, and he is believed to be attracting interest from across Europe.

According to the Daily Mail, the Toffees are the latest club to consider a move for the Cameroonian, with Roberto Martinez keen to recruit another striker this summer.

The former Barcelona and Inter Milan striker is believed to want to remain in England, and the 33-year-old has also been linked with Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool.

Eto'o scored 12 goals for Chelsea last season.
