Since losing to Port Vale on the opening day of the season, Fleetwood have lost only once in 11 league games, although they have won just three games in that period.

Draws have been the tale of Fleetwood's season so far, and they added another point to their total last weekend courtesy of a 1-1 away draw against Portsmouth.

Carlos Mendes equalised for Fleetwood in the 15th minute to cancel out Josh Koroma's early opener, and Fleetwood held firm to extend their unbeaten away run in the league to five games.

Following back-to-back away matches, Scott Brown's side will return to home surroundings this weekend, where they are currently winless in five home league matches, although four of those contests have ended all square.

Despite struggling in front of goal, Fleetwood boast a resilient defence after conceding no more than one goal in nine of their 11 league games.

Meanwhile, Shrewsbury began the campaign in poor form, with their opening six games yielding only one victory, but they have experienced an upturn in form in recent weeks.

In their last six league games, Shrewsbury have won four matches, including a narrow 2-1 victory over MK Dons last weekend.

Tom Bayliss and Jordan Shipley netted a goal apiece to clinch a third consecutive home win in the league, while the three points also ensured that Steve Cotterill's side head into Saturday's contest in ninth place.

Their home form may be impressive, but Shrewsbury will be looking to avoid a third consecutive away defeat this weekend.

Shrewsbury will be hoping to rediscover the form that saw them begin the League One season with a run of four away games without defeat.

Team News

Fleetwood are still expected to be without the services of Michael Devlin and Darnell Johnson due to injury issues.

Toto Nsiala is also a doubt after being forced off last weekend, and if he is unable to feature on Saturday then he could be replaced by Drew Baker.

After scoring his first goal for the club, Mendes will retain his place on the left flank, while Harvey Macadam is expected to start on the right wing.

As for the visitors, there are doubts over the availability of Matthew Pennington who had to be withdrawn in the first half against MK Dons.

If Pennington is not fit enough to start on Saturday then Carl Winchester could drop into defence to feature in a back three alongside Chey Dunkley and Taylor Moore.

Meanwhile, Aiden O'Brien may also be brought into the side to feature on the left wing, which could see Shipley move into central midfield.

Fleetwood Town possible starting lineup:
Lynch; Rooney, Baker, Earl, Andrew; Vela, Warrington; Macadam, Lane, Mendes; Muskwe

Shrewsbury Town possible starting lineup:
Burgoyne; Winchester, Dunkley, Moore; Bennett, Bayliss, Leahy, Shipley, O'Brien; Pyke, Saydee

We say: Fleetwood Town 1-1 Shrewsbury Town

Fleetwood have proven to be a tough team to beat this season, but they have drawn four of their last five home games in the league, and we think that Saturday's contest will also end all square.
