Marcus Bettinelli has admitted that he hopes to remain first-choice goalkeeper at Fulham for "many years to come" after penning a long-term deal at Craven Cottage.
Bettinelli has signed a contract until 2019, and the England Under-21 stopper has revealed his delight having committed his future to the club, despite reported interest from elsewhere.
The 23-year-old told the club's official website: "I'm absolutely delighted to sign a new deal with the club I've been with for a long time.
"I always dreamed of wearing the number-one shirt for this club when I was coming through the academy. I'm extremely proud to wear it now and hopefully for many more years to come."
Bettinelli made 45 appearances for Fulham in all competitions last season.
