Fulham have announced the signing of Newcastle United forward Aleksandar Mitrovic on a long-term contract.
Mitrovic spent the second half of the last campaign at Craven Cottage, helping the club secure promotion to the Premier League via the Championship playoffs.
The West Londoners have pushed hard to bring in the Serbia international on a permanent basis, and after drawn-out negotiations with Newcastle, Mitroivc has penned a five-year deal.
The 23-year-old told the club's official website: "I'm very glad and happy and proud to finally be here and officially become a Fulham player. I'm happy to the moon and back.
"I have love for the fans. They're amazing fans and I have a really good connection with them. This is a big club and last year we made history, we did big things, and I want to continue this. We want to keep making big things, and with all the fans behind us I think we can go far."
Mitrovic leaves Newcastle for a reported £22m plus add-ons having scored a total of 17 goals in 72 appearances in all competitions.
