Fulham reportedly open talks with Juventus over a potential transfer for former Everton striker Moise Kean.

Fulham have reportedly approached Juventus over a transfer for Italian striker Moise Kean.

The Cottagers are looking to strengthen their forward line before the transfer window shuts on September 1 following the departure of Aleksandar Mitrovic.

Serbia international Mitrovic recently left West London for Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal in a club-record sale worth £46m.

Despite recruiting Raul Jimenez earlier this summer, Fulham boss Marco Silva has made it clear that he wants to sign a replacement for Mitrovic.

According to the Evening Standard, Fulham made contact with Serie A side Juventus on Monday to discuss a potential fee for Kean.

The forward previously played in the Premier League for Everton, signing in the summer of 2019 from Juventus for a £27.5m fee.

Kean struggled during his time with the Merseyside club, scoring just four goals in 39 appearances across all competitions.

The 23-year-old was subsequently loaned out to Paris Saint-Germain for a season, before he returned to Juventus in 2021 on a two-year loan deal.

The Italian side made the move permanent earlier this year, with Kean putting pen to paper on a contract until June 2025.

However, Juventus are looking to raise funds and may be tempted to part ways with Kean for the second time in his career.

Since returning to the Italian giants, the striker largely had to settle for substitute appearances, with the likes of Dusan Vlahovic, Federico Chiesa and Arkadiusz Milik sitting above him in the pecking order.

In addition to Kean, Fulham have also been linked with a move for Folarin Balogun, who is expected to leave Arsenal before the transfer window closes.

Fulham are facing competition from fellow London clubs Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur, while Ligue 1 side Monaco have already seen a £34m bid rejected for the USA international.
