Germany's general manager Oliver Bierhoff has revealed that his nation are keen to set up a friendly fixture with England next year.
Having recently announced a match against France, former AC Milan striker Bierhoff admitted that the Three Lions would provide some good competition to his nation ahead of the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
"I'm delighted that we are going to be facing top nations again in our warm-up matches," he said.
"France is just the beginning. In August, we are looking to play Brazil, and should we qualify directly for the 2014 World Cup, then we intend to play England and Italy in November."
The Germans are currently ranked second in the FIFA standings.
