Toni Kroos is "convinced" that Germany will go on to lift the World Cup on Sunday after they humiliated hosts Brazil on their way to spectacularly reaching the final.
The Bayern Munich midfielder scored two of his side's goals as they won 7-1 in Belo Horizonte to inflict a heaviest ever World Cup last-four defeat on the Selecao.
Man of the match Kroos insists that the Germans know that they will need another similar performance to topple either Argentina or Netherlands in Rio de Janeiro this weekend as they seek their fourth World Cup triumph.
He told reporters: "We are here to become world champions but no one becomes world champions in the semi-final and there is still and extremely difficult step - this was the feeling in a dressing room.
"Sure, when do you win a World Cup semi-final 7-1... but we still have one more match to go.
"We have to deliver another absolutely top performance otherwise we will lose the final - and I am convinced we will win."
See how Kroos and the rest of the semi-finalists fared in Sports Mole's player ratings piece.
