Hannover captain Steven Cherundolo has revealed that he is open to the idea of joining an MLS club next summer.
The 34-year-old defender will become a free agent at the end of the season when his current contract with his German club comes to an end.
"It's always something that I am interested in. I follow the league, it is a great little league," he told ESPN. "Good friends have moved back home recently.
"Carlos Bocanegra is there and has wonderful things to say about the league, and obviously playing at home is something much different from anything we've been used to.
"We spent our whole careers away from home. It's something that definitely interests me. It's a decision I will make in May."
Cherundolo has been at Hannover since 1999.
