Hearts administrators BDO reveal that four players are "likely" to leave the club following the Scottish outfit's fall into administration.

BDO administrator Bryan Jackson has revealed that four Hearts players are "likely" to be leaving the club.

The Scottish outfit were officially placed in administration yesterday due to debts of over £25m.

Jackson has revealed that four unnamed players - two senior and two from the youth squad, are expected to be made redundant following the release of 14 office staff.

"Job losses are inevitable," Jackson told BBC Radio Scotland. "We need to cut costs quickly."

Jackson has also claimed that if enough money is raised within the next two weeks a large exodus of players could be avoided.
