Steve Bruce pleased with Shane Long, Nikica Jelavic goals

Steve Bruce says that he is delighted that both Shane Long and Nikica Jelavic scored in Hull City's win at Sunderland in the Premier League on Saturday.

Hull City manager Steve Bruce has said that he is pleased to see Shane Long and Nikica Jelavic score against Sunderland on Saturday.

The strikers were on target against their 10-man hosts in the Premier League to help the Tigers to a 2-0 victory at the Stadium of Light.

"It's great for them," BBC Sport quotes Bruce as saying. "The partnership is starting to flourish but they're doing well individually, too.

"They've done exactly what I thought they would do. There's no egos, they've got great attitude, which is exactly what you need at a newly promoted club."

Hull are currently 10th in the league table with 27 points from 25 matches.
