Good evening and thank you for joining Sports Mole for live text commentary of tonight’s Serie A match between Inter Milan and Parma at the San Siro.

TEAM NEWS: The lineups for each side have been announced and I can bring them to you now, starting with the hosts.

INTER MILAN XI: Handanovic, Campagnaro, Ranocchia, Jesus, Jonathan, Kovacic, Cambiasso, Alvarez, Zanetti, Guarin, Palacio

PARMA XI: Mirante, Cassani, Paletta, Lucarelli, Gobbi, Gargano, Marchionni, Parolo, Biabiany, Cassano, Sansone

The big news has to be Antonio Cassano's return to the San Siro. The striker left the club in the summer, after just one season, and will be keen to impress tonight.

Parma may have lost on each of their last seven visits to Inter, but they will certainly be encouraged by some of the results they have achieved so far this season. They have claimed a 3-2 win over AC Milan and also won 1-0 away against third placed Napoli.

Inter haven't lost in their last seven league games, but have drawn two on the bounce, and were poor against Sampdoria last weekend. Manager Walter Mazzarri was frustrated at how easily they squandered position and he will expect more from his players this evening.

PREDICTION: Inter will want to get back to winning ways after draws in their last two league games and I believe they will have the quality to get the result they want this evening. Parma will be a threat, and Cassano will be fired up for this match, but I can’t see them coming away with anything tonight. A 3-1 win to Inter is how I see this one finishing.

Javier Zanetti is one man who will relish the occasion this evening. The 40-year-old suffered a serious injury at the end of last season, but has recently made his return and starts in the heart of the midfield for Inter.

There isn't long left until kick off and the players are making their way out of the tunnel and onto the pitch.

KICKOFF! We are underway at the San Siro

CHANCE! Inter have the first shot on goal of the game, as Cassano loses the ball in midfield, before it is fed to Palacio, who bends an effort just wide.

CHANCE! The visitors have a great chance up the other end. They win a corner and it is brilliantly worked to Paletta, but his low drive is hit straight at the keeper.

Cassano looks like he wants to prove a point and does well to win a corner, after weaving his way down the left hand side.

Parma deliver the ball into the box, but it fails to beat the first man and Inter clear the danger.

YELLOW CARD! Parolo picks up a booking for a late challenge on Campagnaro, which gives Inter a free kick in a promising position from the right hand side.

The free kick is played down the line to Jonathan, and he delivers a decent cross, but the defence hold strong and head it clear.

GOAL! Inter Milan 0-1 Parma (Sansone)

Parma have stunned the San Siro. Marchionni slips a lovely ball through to Sansone, who takes a touch, before placing the ball into the bottom corner.

The visitors have started well here and nearly get in again, as Cassani whips a low ball into the middle that Handanovic is relieved to gather.

Jonathan does well for the home side as he plays a teasing low ball across the box, but there is no one there to touch it into the net.

CHANCE! Huge miss by Palacio! Guarin fires a strike across goal that comes for the striker at the back post, but he somehow fires it over.

SUBSTITUTION: Parma are forced into an early change as Acquah comes on for the injured Gargano.

Jonathan does well to whip in a deep cross from the byline and Parma manage to put it behind for a corner. The set piece goes to waste though as the visitors clear, but there are signs that Inter are coming back into this game.

Palacio has a glimpse of an opportunity as he flicks a long ball goalwards, but it is straight at Mirante and the keeper gathers with ease.

CHANCE! Kovacic slips a wonderful pass through to Palacio, who takes it past the keeper. He takes the ball too wide to shoot though, so plays it across goal, but Parma manage to clear.

CHANCE! Kovacic is starting to make an impact on this game now and he picks up the ball in the middle, before lashing an effort over the bar.

Mirante almost makes a howler in the Parma goal. Guarin delivers a low cross from the right hand side, and the keeper looks like he has it covered, but spills the ball. Luckily for him though he reacted quickly before any Inter players could punish him.

Inter have pegged Parma back deep inside their own half and are playing the ball around freely, as they look to find a gap in the opposing defence.

Cambiasso does well to break forward and deliver a teasing cross into the box, but it is just beyond the reach of Palacio who can't stretch enough to make contact.

The ball breaks kindly to Alvares just outside the box and he decides to have an attempt on goal, but his strike lacks accuracy and doesn't trouble Mirante.

Jonathan has put some fantastic balls into the middle this evening, but time and time again Inter don't have enough players in the middle. On this occasion, he fires in a wonderful low cross, but it travels harmlessly through for a goal kick.

CHANCE! Big chance for the visitors to grab a second. They break forward and the ball is whipped to the back post, where Acquah gets a strike on goal, but Ranocchia makes a last ditch challenge to save it from going into the net.

GOAL! Inter Milan 1-1 Parma (Palacio)

Inter are level and they have made one of their many crosses count. Guarin delivers a fantastic low ball into the box, and from a couple of yards out, Palacio is on hand to fire it into the net.

GOAL! Inter Milan 1-2 Parma (Parolo)

Handanovic has had an absolute shocker! The ball is played into the middle and he should easily gather, but somehow spills it through his legs, with Parolo on hand to slot home.

HALF TIME: Inter Milan 1-2 Parma

An unbelievable mistake from Handanovic has given Parma the lead at the break. It was a truly shocking error by the keeper, which came just minutes after his side had equalised.

Having conceded early on, the home side went on to dominate much of the first 45 minutes, with Parma unable to get out of their own half, but they have a lead to cling onto in the second half.

I'm sure Inter manager Mazzarri will be telling his players that they have created plenty of goalscoring opportunities and not to panic as they go in search of a second goal.

In the early stages it seemed as though Cassano was going to have a big impact on the game, but like his team, he faded after they took the lead. It will be interesting to see what their attitude is after the break.

Inter kick off and get the second half started.

Alvarez goes down in the box for Inter, after being barged off the ball, but the referee decides that there was not enough contact to warrant a spot kick.

Inter have dominated the possession in the opening stages of the half, but are yet to create any chances in the final third.

YELLOW CARD! Ranocchia drags back Cassano and picks up a booking.

Parma put together a fine passing move, with Cassano receiving the ball on the edge of the box, but his pass through to Gobbi has too much on it and it goes out of play for a goal kick.

GOAL! Inter Milan 2-2 Parma (Palacio)

Palacio has drawn Inter level for second time in this game. Alvarez puts a fantastic cross into the middle, and he rises highest to power a header past the keeper.

GOAL! Inter Milan 3-2 Parma (Guarin)

In the space of two minutes the home side have turned this game around! Guarin controls the ball on the edge of the box, before firing in a low effort, that takes a huge deflection and finds the back of the net.

Inter have enjoyed a great start to this half. Guarin's strike looked to be heading straight into the gloves of the keeper, but the deflection of the defender left Mirante wrong footed and with no chance of saving it.

GOAL! Inter Milan 3-3 Parma (Sansone)

What an amazing game we have here! The ball is played wide to Cassani on the right hand side, and his low delivery is turned into the net by Sansone.

CHANCE! Parma threaten again, as Paletta rises highest in the middle to meet a corner, but it is headed straight at the keeper.

Cassano tries to get in on the action, as he latches onto a long ball over the top, before attempting an audacious half volley from outside the box, but his effort sails over the bar.

Inter work a good opening down the right hand side and get the ball into the box, but Alvarez places his header wide of the goal.

SUBSTITUTION: Inter make a change and Nagatomo is on in place of Zanetti.

Nagatomo looks to make an impact as his ball into the middle is headed on by Palacio, but the striker can only direct it straight through to the keeper.

Inter are starting to pile on the pressure and the ball comes to Kovacic around 25 yards out from goal, but he drags his final effort wide.

Cassano delivers a dangerous ball into the middle, that falls to Paletta at the back post, but after working himself some space to shoot, he lashes his effort over the bar.

SUBSTITUTION: Inter make another change as Belfodil replaces Jonathan.

YELLOW CARD! Kovacic is booked for pulling back Sansone as he looked to break.

CHANCE! Acquah comes close for the visitors as he unleashes a powerful strike from the edge of the area, that Handanovic manages to tip over the bar.

Sansone tries his luck from long range with a curling effort, but it is hit straight at the keeper. It has been refreshing to see that both teams are still going for the winner.

Parma are furious that they haven't been awarded a penalty. Biabiany gets down the right hand side and plays the ball back to Sansone who sees his effort blocked by Ranocchia, but they feel it hit the defender's hand.

SUBSTITUTION: There will be no hat-trick for Sansone as he is replaced by Rosi.

SUBSTITUTION: Inter make a change of their own with Taider replacing Guarin.

CHANCE! Biabiany bursts into the middle and sees his low drive blocked by Ranocchia. The ball goes out for a corner, but Inter manage to clear it away.

We are going to have three minutes of injury time.

CHANCE! Inter come agonizingly close to winning the game! The ball is whipped into the middle and Cambiasso meets it on the volley, but Mirante pulls off a fantastic save.

Inter have been awarded a free kick, that will be taken from the left hand side. This will surely be the last chance of the game.

Taider's delivery was not the best and fails to beat the first man.

FULL TIME: Inter Milan 3-3 Parma

What a fantastic game of football! Inter and Parma have shared a six-goal thriller at the San Siro, and the hosts could have won the game in stoppage time had Cambiasso's effort found the back of the net.

That's all we've got time for from this evening's game. Please stay with us at Sports Mole for the latest news and results, but from me, it's goodnight!
