Half-Time Report: Jordan Rhodes cancels out Luke Hyam opener

Jordan Rhodes cancels out Luke Hyam's early goal as Blackburn Rovers hold Ipswich Town to a 1-1 draw at half time.

Jordan Rhodes cancelled out Luke Hyam's fourth-minute opener as Blackburn Rovers hold Ipswich Town to a 1-1 half-time draw at Portman Road tonight.

The hosts raced into a 1-0 lead through Hyam, who fired home past Rovers goalkeeper Jake Kean from the edge of the area to edge secure an ideal start for Mick McCarthy's men.

However, the visitors hit back through Rhodes on the half-hour mark, as he beat the on-rushing Dean Gerken before slotting into an empty net to restore parity.

Neither team could edge ahead prior to the break and both sides go into the interval all square.
