Jack Marriott has expressed his desire to feature for the Ipswich Town senior side over the Christmas period.
The 19-year-old is currently in the middle of a one-month loan spell with Skrill Premier outfit Woking.
However, upon his return next month, the striker is keen to force his way into Mick McCarthy's plans at Portman Road.
"In the next few weeks, I want to play really well at Woking, score a few goals and play week-in, week-out," the East Anglian Daily Times quotes Marriott as saying.
"It would be nice to come back around the Christmas period when there is a busy run of matches at Ipswich, and hopefully I can get some game time in the Championship.
"I am enjoying the experience at Woking though and I had no hesitation in going there, playing for points in a very good league, against big, strong defenders."
Marriott has scored three goals in two matches for Woking.
