Cesare Prandelli congratulates Juventus on Serie A title win

Italy manager Cesare Prandelli congratulates Juventus after they clinched their third successive Serie A title yesterday.

Italy manager Cesare Prandelli has congratulated Juventus on their Serie A title success.

Antonio Conte's side clinched their third consecutive title and 30th Serie A crown overall courtesy of Roma's shock defeat at the hands of Catania yesterday.

The Bianconeri have lost just two games all season and boast a 100% record at home in the league, and Prandelli believes that they are deserving champions.

"My compliments go to Juventus, to Conte and to their players. They really deserved to win and have done so despite having the added pressure to succeed," Conte told Gazzetta dello Sport.

Juve would move 11 points clear at the top of the table with a win over Atalanta tonight as they look to become the first top-flight Italian side to break the 100-point barrier in a single season.
