AC Milan and clubs in the Chinese Super League have reportedly identified Juventus forward Mario Mandzukic as a possible transfer target.
Mandzukic is coming to the end of the third year of his successful stint in Turin, but the 31-year-old has only scored 10 goals during the current campaign.
The Croatian international still has two years remaining on his contract but according to Calciomercato, Milan may make an attempt to sign the experienced frontman in the summer.
With manager Gennaro Gattuso having recently penned a long-term deal at San Siro, the club legend will now look to put together a squad capable of challenging for a minimum of a top-three position in Serie A and Mandzukic could potentially fit the bill.
However, Milan must first meet their FFP obligations, and that could let in teams from the Chinese Super League who may be willing to give Mandzukic more lucrative terms.
