Leicester City have reportedly identified Metz forward Habib Diallo as a potential long-term replacement for Jamie Vardy.
Diallo, who was linked with Chelsea during the January transfer window, has scored 12 times in 26 Ligue 1 appearances during the 2019-20 campaign.
Leeds United are said to be weighing up a summer move for the 24-year-old, who is believed to be valued by Metz in the region of €20m (£18m).
However, according to Le Quotiduen Du Foot, Leicester are also interested in the Senegal international as they eye a long-term replacement for Vardy.
The 33-year-old has scored 19 Premier League goals during another impressive campaign but is heading for the final two years of his contract at the King Power Stadium.
The Foxes will be one of a selection of Premier League clubs determined to finish the 2019-20 campaign as they are currently third in the table and on course for a Champions League spot for the 2020-21 season.
