West Ham United are reportedly considering whether to make an approach for Reading forward Danny Loader.
Having spent much of the campaign out of the starting lineup, the 19-year-old will leave the Royals on a free transfer at the end of the season.
With Reading having needed to withdraw a contract offer for the prospect due to the coronavirus pandemic, they will no longer be due compensation.
According to Twitter user 'ExWHUemployee', that could lead to West Ham rivalling the likes of Wolverhampton Wanderers, Crystal Palace and Leeds United for the England Under-20 international.
Although Loader came close to joining Wolves last summer, he is likely to consider his options given widespread interest in his signature.
In 13 starts and 22 substitute outings in all competitions, Loader has netted just two goals, the most recent coming against Blackpool in the FA Cup at the beginning of 2020.
