Leicester City manager Nigel Pearson has warned his side that they are in danger of throwing away their promotion hopes this season.
Since climbing into the top two of the Championship in January, the Foxes have won just one of their last seven games. They are now fifth in the table, eight points adrift of the automatic promotion places.
Pearson has admitted that the team needs to improve their fortunes.
"It is tough because we have worked really hard to get into a good position," he told Sky Sports News.
"But at the moment our performances are not reflecting some of the hard work we have done in the past and we have now got a very tough game (Cardiff) - but what a good opportunity for us to bounce back and get back to the level of performance we are looking for.
"We have worked very hard to get into this position. Our form currently is not what we want in terms of getting results. But ultimately, I know that our creativity at the minute is not quite there."
Leicester travel to league leaders Cardiff City on Tuesday evening.
