Jermaine Beckford's Leicester City career could be over after he publicly disobeyed Foxes boss Nigel Pearson.
Beckford, 28, refused instruction during the club's 1-0 defeat to Peterborough on Saturday, and it is understood that his future is now in doubt.
"I wasn't happy and I will deal with those sort of things internally. It wasn't something I want to see," Pearson told The Sun.
"The fans will have their opinions, as do I. We were trying to get back into the game and I am not going to go overboard publicly, but I will be dealing with things behind the scenes."
Beckford joined Leicester from Everton in 2011.
