Liverpool attacker Mohamed Salah will go in search of his 100th Premier League goal when the Reds face Leeds United at Elland Road on Sunday.

Liverpool attacker Mohamed Salah will aim to hit a Premier League goalscoring milestone during Sunday afternoon's battle with Leeds United at Elland Road.

The 29-year-old has started as he means to go on in the 2021-22 league season, claiming two goals and two assists from his side's opening three games in the top flight.

Salah's equaliser from the penalty spot against Chelsea represented his 99th in the Premier League, and the Egypt international will be out to hit the 100-goal mark against Leeds in gameweek four.

Salah would become the 30th player to reach that milestone in the competition should he net at Elland Road, while the only African player who currently boasts 100 Premier League goals is Didier Drogba.

The former Chelsea and Roma man is set to make his 162nd Premier League appearance on Sunday, and a goal would see him become the fifth-quickest player to reach a century in the competition after Alan Shearer, Harry Kane, Sergio Aguero and Thierry Henry.

Salah scored a hat-trick against Leeds on the opening day of the 2020-21 season before drawing a blank in a 19-minute cameo at Elland Road back in April.
