Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers believes that Daniel Sturridge has the potential to become a "world-class striker".
Sturridge has netted 18 goals in the Premier League this term and is second only to Luis Suarez in the division's top-scorer charts.
Speaking to talkSPORT, Rodgers said: "Daniel is potentially world class. He has got everything to be a world-class striker.
"He's been given an opportunity here at a huge club and a lot of people are helping him to implement his talent. He's a good boy.
"He's a boy at 24 years of age who has all the tools – the speed, the power, two great feet and he's getting better in the air."
The Reds are currently second in the Premier League.
