AC Milan are reportedly preparing to rival Liverpool for the signature of Fulham attacker Fabio Carvalho on a free transfer ahead of the 2022-23 campaign.
Liverpool were allegedly on the verge of signing the teenager during the January transfer window, only to miss out at the final moment, having been unable to submit the paperwork in time.
Reds boss Jurgen Klopp has all but confirmed that the club will reignite their interest this summer, while Real Madrid and Barcelona are also believed to be keeping a close eye on the situation.
However, according to Calciomercato, there is also serious interest from Milan, who are keen to bring him to Italy at the end of the season.
The report claims that the Serie A giants have already been in contact with Carvalho's representatives to discuss a possible move to San Siro on a free transfer.
The 19-year-old has been in impressive form for Fulham during the 2021-22 campaign, scoring seven times and registering four assists in 19 appearances in all competitions.
