Former Liverpool midfielder Dietmar Hamman has urged the club to sell Raheem Sterling at the end of the season.
The 20-year-old winger is expected to inform manager Brendan Rodgers this week that he wants to leave Anfield in the summer.
Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City are all understood to be monitoring the England international's transfer situation.
Hamann believes that it is now best that Liverpool move Sterling on due to his lack of commitment to the club.
"If Sterling wants to go, let him," he is quoted as saying by Goal.com. "We've not won much with him so we will be okay without him. We need players who want to be here and commit."
Liverpool play their final game of the season on Sunday when they face Stoke City at the Britannia Stadium.
