Liverpool have announced that midfielder Kevin Stewart has signed a new contract at Anfield.
The 22-year-old is currently nursing an ankle injury, but has impressed manager Jurgen Klopp this season.
In January, Stewart made his first-team debut in the FA Cup and later featured in the Reds' 6-0 victory over Aston Villa on February 14.
"It gives me more confidence, it shows [the club] believes in me and believe that I could go on to become a good player for them," Stewart told the club's official website.
"It has just given me confidence in myself and the security [I have] time to prove myself and get better with good coaches and good players."
Stewart joined Liverpool from Tottenham Hotspur in 2014.
