Liverpool have reportedly turned their attention to Barcelona's Marc-Andre ter Stegen as the search for a new goalkeeper continues.
The inconsistent form of Simon Mignolet and an injury to Brad Jones has seen Liverpool linked with a number of goalkeepers in recent weeks, but little progress has been made in the January transfer window.
According to the Sunday Express, Brendan Rodgers is now considering a loan deal for Ter Stegen until the end of the season.
Ter Stegen made the move to Barcelona from Borussia Monchengladbach in the summer, but he has been forced to serve as back-up to Claudio Bravo so far this season.
