Liverpool are reportedly ready to hold fresh contract negotiations with the representatives of Sadio Mane.
The Senegal international has just over a year remaining on his existing terms at Anfield, putting Liverpool officials in a position where they need to establish where the forward sees his future.
As expected, the 30-year-old is not short of admirers with Barcelona and Bayern Munich both said to be monitoring the situation ahead of a potential bid.
According to Goal, talks between Mane's camp and Liverpool are scheduled for the end of the season with none expected while the club are competing for trophies.
The report adds that while Mane currently remains happy with life on Merseyside, the wideman is not opposed to entertaining the idea of a transfer elsewhere.
The development comes at a time when the contracts of Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino are also due to expire in 2023, leaving Liverpool officials with plenty of work ahead of them over the coming months.
