Liverpool midfielder Daniel Trickett-Smith has agreed a deal with Sacramento Republic FC.
The 20-year-old joined the Reds from Crewe Alexandra in 2012, but he did not make a single appearance for the senior side.
Now, having been informed that his contract at Anfield will not be renewed, Trickett-Smith has opted for a move to California.
"Want to say a massive thank you to everyone at LFC - staff, players and especially the fans for the support over the years. Unbelievable fans," the attacking midfielder wrote on Twitter.
"Happy to have signed for Sacramento Republic FC. Can't wait to get over there and start playing."
Trickett-Smith could make his Republic debut against Liverpool's Under-21s when they tour America later this month.
