Real Madrid are reportedly considered the frontrunners to sign Nabil Fekir from Lyon as they look to reinvest the cash from Cristiano Ronaldo's sale.
The 25-year-old was on the brink of joining Liverpool in the summer, only for the Reds to scrap a move late on due to fitness concerns.
Fekir has pushed on from where he left off last season in Lyon colours, playing a direct part in six Ligue 1 and Champions League goals, including a long-range finish in the 2-1 win over Manchester City last week.
L'Equipe reports that Madrid are preparing to make a move for the France international, who could be available for around half the £100m Los Blancos got through the sale of Ronaldo.
Chelsea are also rumoured to have declared an interest in signing Fekir during the summer transfer window.
