Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has insisted that striker Luis Suarez is committed to the club's vision for future success.
The Uruguayan forward has been frequently linked with a move away from Anfield as Liverpool continue to struggle to compete against the Premier League's top clubs.
However, after Suarez turned down the opportunity to leave the club in the summer, Rodgers believes that the 26-year-old is not seeking a move away from the Reds.
Rodgers told reporters: "Luis had a terrific season last season and he had an opportunity to leave in the summer, and probably would have had a ready-made excuse with a new manager coming in, but he never did.
"He is committed to the club. He sees the vision going forward, and he believes in that."
Suarez has scored 20 goals for Liverpool in all competitions this season.
