Liverpool defender Dejan Lovren reportedly remains a transfer target for Roma.
After only playing a bit-part role during the previous campaign, Lovren has been attracting interest from teams in Serie A during the summer window.
AC Milan have previously been linked with the Croatia international, although Roma have seemingly emerged as frontrunners since the beginning of August.
While Liverpool are unlikely to sell the centre-back now that the English transfer window has closed, Corriere dello Sport claims that Roma are still considering whether to launch a bid.
The Italian giants need to find a replacement for Kostas Manolas, who has ended his successful spell at Stadio Olimpico to move to Napoli.
Lovren has less than two years remaining on his contract at Anfield.
