Timo Werner is reportedly keen to join Liverpool during this summer's transfer window but wants guarantees over playing time at Anfield before agreeing a move.
The 23-year-old has been in excellent form for RB Leipzig during the 2019-20 campaign, finding the back of the net on 27 occasions in 33 appearances, in addition to contributing 11 assists.
According to Sky Sports News, the Germany international is "almost certain" to leave Leipzig this summer and "favours a move to Liverpool" but only if he receives regular football with Jurgen Klopp's side.
Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah are Liverpool's current first-choice front three, with the trio all playing key roles in the team's success over the last couple of seasons.
Firmino, though, is currently being strongly linked with a move to Bayern Munich, who have reportedly contacted the Brazil international's representatives to discuss a potential summer deal.
Werner, who has also been linked with Manchester United, Chelsea and Bayern, could allegedly be available for just €30m (£25.2m) ahead of the 2020-21 campaign.
