Manchester City team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Atalanta BC

Sports Mole rounds up Manchester City's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Tuesday's Champions League clash with Atalanta BC.

Manchester City will be looking for their third straight win in Group C when they welcome Atalanta BC to the Etihad Stadium in the Champions League on Tuesday night.

Pep Guardiola's side have beaten Shakhtar Donetsk and Dinamo Zagreb in their two European fixtures this term to take charge of the section ahead of Tuesday's contest.

The Citizens will also enter the match off the back of a Premier League success having beaten Crystal Palace 2-0 at Selhurst Park in Saturday's late kickoff.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up City's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the clash.

Leroy Sane has been on the sidelines since injuring knee ligaments against Liverpool in the Community Shield. The Germany international is expected to return in early 2020 although there is no clear date at this stage.

Possible return date: October 22 (vs. Atalanta)

Kyle Walker was not involved against Palace at the weekend due to an illness which forced him to be withdrawn at the interval against Wolverhampton Wanderers before the international break. The Englishman remains a doubt for the Champions League clash with Atalanta, although there is a chance that he could return.

Nicolas Otamendi
