Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure to miss Norwich City trip

Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini confirms that Yaya Toure is not fit to play in Saturday's Premier League match against struggling Norwich City.

Manuel Pellegrini has confirmed that Yaya Toure will sit out Manchester City's Premier League match away at Norwich City tomorrow.

The Ivorian midfielder is struggling with a heel problem and could also miss the return leg of City's last-16 Champions League tie against Dynamo Kiev on Tuesday.

"Yaya Toure has a problem in his heel, he is out tomorrow," Pellegrini told reporters. "We don't know about Kiev on Tuesday."

Fellow City midfielders Fabian Delph (shin), Kevin De Bruyne (knee) and Samir Nasri (thigh) are also out but could return after the international break later this month.

City go to Norwich fourth in the Premier League but with the chance to climb up to third and within seven points of leaders Leicester City with a win.
