Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini reportedly accused Mario Balotelli of being an "impossible lunatic" during yesterday's training ground scrap.

Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini reportedly branded striker Mario Balotelli a "lunatic" during a bust-up between the pair at the club's Carrington training ground.

The Italian boss was pictured yelling and grabbing the 22-year-old's training bib after what is thought to have been a reckless tackle on teammate Scott Sinclair during a training session yesterday.

It is understood that Mancini accused the controversial Italy international of being a "f***ing impossible lunatic" and it is believed that members of the team think that Mancini went too far in his outburst, according to the Daily Star.

The pair needed to be pulled apart during the scuffle and Mancini is expected to address the incident during his pre-match press conference today.
